THE ARCHITECTURE HAS A VOICE

Stone, light, and a held note.

Hear the original Cathedral score, synthesized on this device. The remote image stream carries no audio; music follows the selected composition, without frame synchronization.

WHAT THESE MEASUREMENTS MEAN

Delivered frames count decoded images received by this view. For video, decode-to-present wall time starts when a compressed frame enters the decoder and ends when its decoded image is drawn. For JPEG, wall time measures image decoding and display assignment. Both exclude network transport. Neither measurement is a GPU timestamp or a claim about the renderer’s internal frame rate. Continuous multipart JPEG delivery keeps only the newest waiting frame; unsupported backends use polling. Payload estimates count received compressed H.264 or JPEG bytes, including discarded frames, over a ten-second window. The hourly projection excludes protocol overhead and is not an egress bill.

The full-world video path uses the remote NVENC encoder and feature-detects H.264 decoding in this viewer. A hardware decode preference does not prove where the client decodes. Unsupported viewers retain JPEG delivery. The native GLSL field study currently uses JPEG.
